Work and Pleasure

I came out tonight to spec a part of the application I'm working on. Not really sure if I was going to lucky coq or somewhere else, I ended up on Brunswick st, getting to Parliament Station in a blissfully air conditoned Siemen's train, and sketching frantically in my notebook waiting for the 112 to Brunswick st. I got some good ideas down! Got some money out, and called Keith to see if he was at Joes, I said I'd meed him at Black Cat. The wifi and beer is better there, and I like the atmosphere. A bag of twisties and 3 Cooper's Green later, we had some more ideas down. The cool change gathered and rained down, and we went to have Mexican and another beer at an authentically mexican place on Johnson st. Yum! Talked Comic Life, Skitch, and other geek and non geek stuff.
On the way home, walked from Parliament to Flinders - it was a nice night! Got a large Coke from Mc Donalds with lots of ice (I like it watery) and stood connecting some interface builder outlets to my .nib with one hand, holding my computer with the other. Was going to watch some Little Britain at home but ended up finishing coding the basics of the spec I doodled on the train on the way in, and started coding on the way home. It's nice when things work like this!
